I’m Abe Somers. Quiet Current brings together my interests in housing, building performance, and turning ideas into practical next steps.

My background includes building science, HVAC project work, construction, and collaborative housing-design work. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I help people make sense of connected questions about property, housing, and buildings.

How I Approach the Work

I start by listening to the question you’re trying to answer. If there’s a useful fit, we agree on a focused scope and deliverable before work begins. Then I can research, organize information, compare options, and identify unanswered questions.
